جريجوري لادنر هو مصمم الأزياء الرائد في ملبورن لفترة السبعينات والثمانينيات. انطلاقاً من خبرته في عالم الأزياء الراقي، دخل جريجوري لادنر متحف اللوفر في باريس من أوسع أبوابه. كانت تلك هي انطلاقته الأولى ودافعه الأساسي في عالم الازياء. بعد مغادرته المتحف، قرر جريجوري لادنر وشريكه مارك جرينفيل التركيز على تصميم الإكسسوارات الراقية، فبدأوا بسلسلة متاجر كبرى وإنشاء علامات تجارية عديدة مثل: "جريجوري لادنر" و"كوكو بيلي" وكذلك "الباسك" و"ألتا لينيا"، كما أنهما ينتجان لكبار المصنعين مثل "شعوذة" و"ترينت ناثان" والمصممين المعروفين مثل "أليناه هيل" ومختلف المحلات المحلية.
Gregory Ladner is a Melbourne designer recognized for many years as one of the leading Haute Couturiers of the 1970’s and 80’s. With an arts background his first experience in the world of high fashion came with the opening of the doors to the exclusive world of ‘Le Louvre’ in the Paris. After leaving Le Louvre, he and his partner Mark Grenville focused in on a shift towards fashion accessories establishing an inroad into the major retail stores. Establishing several labels, ‘Gregory Ladner’ The Two Mrs. Grenville’s’ and ‘Coco Bailey’ as well as producing in-house product ‘Basque’ and ‘Alta Linea’, they also produce such merchandise for leading manufacturers’ such as ‘Witchery’ and ‘Trent Nathan’ and smaller well-known designers such as ‘Alannah Hill’ and various local boutiques.
